She describes the campaign’s resources, the importance of mentorship in nursing, and the need for partnerships between industry, associations and hospitals as well as the need for more government funds for nursing.     Wow! This interview is awesome and extremely insightful. There is a great demand for this kind of information, especially in terms of quality and competence, given the critical need for nurses especially in the less industrialised countries.

    Its true that USA and other industrialised countries have “massive shortages” but given the nurse-patient ratio, the less industrialised countries are many time worse off than the USA.

    Thus, this timely campaign and the interview hereby should be diseminated not only in the USA where action is already being taken but also abroad where depite lots of willpower, the information provision and resources to support it are extremely limited.
